Using disappearing ink on a ClearView Flex stream

Updated over a year ago

Disappearing Ink is useful when you want to quickly draw something on the screen and have it fade away after a few seconds, so you don’t need to worry about clearing it. It’s also useful for rapidly pulling your participants’ eyes to key areas of the video without needing to keep pointing at it with the Shared Pointer.

To use Disappearing Ink, simply select it from the Annotations toolbar. You can also use the y keyboard shortcut.

As you can see below: I’m using Disappearing Ink on the right-hand side of the screen to highlight two key areas to the other participants in the session. On the left-hand side you can see the view for everyone else.

Clicking to draw again before the drawing fades out will cancel the fade, which allows you to draw continuously. As soon as you stop and let it fade out, it is gone forever.

You can change the color of your Disappearing Ink using the Color Picker.
