Immersive Audio Testcards

Enhanced testcard interface and options in Pivot

Brand new testcard interface. Testcards have moved out of the Input Configuration dropdown — which now simply holds your Decklink link options. In their place is a single Use Testcard toggle.

  • Enabling this allows users to select a testcard pattern. Most of the variance in these patterns are audio related options (Focusing mostly on differing channel layouts).

  • Users can choose where the testcard's format comes from: reflect the last known device input on the selected device, or use the machine default.

A suite of audio testcards are now available.

  • Stereo

  • Film 5.1, 7.1, 7.1.2, 7.1.4

  • SMPTE 5.1, 7.1, 7.1.2, 7.1.4, 9.1.6

  • In order for these to become available, the Pivot must have the audio channels set to be 8 or 16 (Channel counts are not shown if they're not configured for a higher number).

Users can now run 12-bit testcards, previously not possible.

  • This means all valid video formats available to the Decklink can now be replicated via the testcard.
