Basics on how to get started with ClearView Rush

ClearView Rush is Sohonet's secure review platform for feature film and episodic content — streaming dailies and cuts in high quality, protected by studio-grade security.

Where you'll be working

Everything in ClearView Rush lives inside a workspace — the space that holds a studio's projects and reviews and sets what each person can do. Your role in the workspace decides what you see and where you work.

Studio teams work in the main app: watching reviews, acting on the ones that need them, and creating new reviews from within the studio.

The people who supply content to the studio — production, post, and external vendors — come in through the Rush Portal. It's a focused way in for uploading footage and turning it into reviews for the studio to watch. If that's your role, the Portal is where you'll spend your time.

Inside the main app

The left-hand sidebar moves between:

  • Screening Room — your watching space. Lean back and catch up: what's new, where you left off, and the reviews you've saved to watch later.

  • Focus — the reviews that need your attention: the ones waiting on you to watch, or to release to the next stage.

  • All Reviews — the complete set: every review shared with you, in one searchable, filterable list.

If your role includes the Portal, a Portal link near the bottom of the sidebar opens it.

What you can see and do depends on the role you've been given in your workspace — if an option in these guides isn't visible to you, it isn't part of your role. The glossary explains the roles and the other terms you'll meet
