To set up a Pivot Call, you need access to the Pivot Call Manager.
Once logged in, select 'Create Call' found at the top right of the 'Active Calls' list. This will open the Call Settings form.
First, you need to select the Pivotbox you are calling from. You will find a list of all the Pivotboxes added your project under a dropdown menu. Pivotboxes which are already in use on another call will be greyed out and can not be selected. A green light next to the Pivotbox indicates that the hardware is online and contactable by the Pivot platform services.
You can enter a call reference which can be used for reporting purposes. If you do not add a call reference the time and date of the call will be used instead. Additionally, each call is assigned a unique ID.
The free text space can be used to share a message or additional text info with anyone joining the call.
Select Setup Call to initiate the start of the call.
At this point, you will need to select an input from the input dropdown. This can either be an SDI connection or one of the testcards you may have stored on the Pivotbox.
You can then perform an internal test using E2E mode or invite users/Pivotboxes to join the call.
