How do I invite Users/Pivotboxes to my Pivot call?
How do I invite Users/Pivotboxes to my Pivot call?
Updated over a year ago

To set up a stream between Pivotboxes you use the Invite form. Select the ‘Invite’ button from the bottom right of your call display

Inviting Users

You can either Invite ‘Users’ or ‘Pivotboxes’ to a call.

Inviting a User will call the other user in their Call Manager interface. They can then choose which Pivotbox they want to answer on. They can answer on any Pivotbox associated with any of their projects

This is useful if you don’t know exactly which screening room/suite/location the user will be at when you make the call.
All Users under your project will be displayed and any User from any connected projects. Connected projects are projects that have been given permission to link to your project

To select a User to invite to the call, select the checkbox next to their name in the invite form.

Inviting Pivotboxes

Alternatively, you can invite any Pivotbox under your project directly. In this case, as you have permissions over the Pivotbox you do not need to go through the extra step of having someone answer the call.

Select 'Pivotboxes' at the top of the form, and then check the checkbox next to the Pivotboxes you want to add to the call

Note: you can invite as many users/pivotboxes as you want but only 5 Pivotboxes can connect to a call at any one time

Here is a short video to show you how
