User Groups allow you to create segregated sub-groups of users who are only able to send content to each other. You can see a list of all your User Groups under the Groups tab.

On this tab you can add groups and add users to groups.

Users added to the Master Group will be able to send and receive content from all other users as if they are added to all groups. If you are yet to set up any sub-groups, all existing users will be in the Master Group by default.
