Flexbox default I/O

Set the default I/O settings for when you start a session

Updated over 2 months ago

You can set the default I/O settings for each Flexbox. Changes made here will be remembered when starting a new session. If you are currently in a session, please end the session and create a new one to pick up the new default values.

NDI Audio Reference Level

This will set the level to which an incoming NDI level of 1.0 will be mapped. Match the setting used by your stream source or contact support. A user’s source tool will be set to use a particular mapping between how the audio data is stored and the way NDI expects it to be. By default each Flexbox is set to 0dBFS, our historic default and common among early NDI adopters. By clicking the drop down you can also choose from two new options: -14dBFS/EBU, a common setting used in Europe or -20dBFS/SMPTE, the dominant method used in the US.

If it is a PAYG Flexbox (Weekly/Monthly) instead of a subscription one (Starter, Pro or Glow) then the options to override will be much more limited.
