Updating package access after upload

How to edit a package's recipients and help users find their packages

Updated over a week ago

Adding recipients to a package

As the sender, you can easily add recipients to a package without having to re-upload the entire package. Simply click the 'Add Recipients' button on the top right side of the screen, an option will appear for you to choose from a list of recipients or to add a new recipient. To add a new recipient, click the blue plus icon, a popup will appear allowing you to enter the email address of the recipient.

Please note that newly added recipients will have the remainder of the access period to download the package. If the package was secured with PIN verification, you will need to add a valid mobile phone number for the new recipient.

Remove access from a package

As the sender, you can easily remove a recipient's access to the package by clicking on the gray 'x' icon located to the right of the recipient's email address. A popup will appear for you to confirm removing access to that recipient.

Recipient's who have had their access removed from a package will no longer be able to download the package. For unverified users that means the links sent to their email address will no longer be active. For verified users, the link will also not work and the package will be grayed out in their Inbox signifying the package has expired.

Forwarding download URLS for unverified users

Lastly, as the sender you can forward the download link for packages sent to unverified users. If for any reason, an unverified user was not able to get the initial download link through email, you can forward the link to them. To do this simply click on the blue link icon located to the right of the unverified user’s email address. A popup will appear allowing you to copy just the link or copy full text.

Please note, this feature is only available for packages sent to unverified users. Download notifications for verified users are purely informational as download links are not needed in order for verified users to download their packages.
