How do I stream un-embedded audio and video onset with ClearView Flex?
Updated over a year ago

ClearView Flex can be used to stream direct from your onset video village during production. Video and audio need to be embedded together in order for Flex to stream audio and video at the same time.

You are able to do this simply doing the following;

  1. Input both your video feed from your camera and your audio feed from sound into a 3G SDI, 4ch analog (balanced jack) / 8ch (AES on jack) digital or 3G SDI, 4ch analog (XLR) audio embedder.

  2. Then take your output from your chosen embedder via SDI into the back of your Flexbox.

This will allow you to stream both audio and video on set at the same time.

If you do not have an SDI output we’d recommend using HDMI, 2ch analogue (unbalanced RCA)

Note: Ideally, we’d recommend you use a hardwired audio line instead of Comtek / wireless intercom. If Comtek has to be used in conjunction with an LTE modem, be sure to keep them as far apart as possible as the LTE modem can cause interference and low audio level issues.
